Delivery or Full Installation?

Why would you choose 'free' delivery when full installation reduces the impact and time taken to get the office set up properly?

This is an area that is often overlooked - and many companies online offer free delivery - which can be very misleading. Effectively if you get this wrong, all the other hard work planning and designing can get wasted. Most of the time this is actually called 'Tailgate Delivery' - which is just that. A vehicle pulls up outside your premises, and a driver gives you the item at the vehicle. That's fine if you've ordered a chair or two. But if it's a boardroom table or a sofa - it's much less fun.Especially if it's coming via an often unhelpful courier.

We are always clear how we will deliver your order - and for orders where a few items have been ordered - we always give the option of a full installation.

There are numerous ways that we work on this, and effectively it depends on your needs and the size of the project. Either way it's an area that we manage carefully so it runs smoothly. This helps reduce chance of damages to your furniture.

We have our main warehouse in Northamptonshire - but we deliver Nationwide.

The factories normally deliver your office furniture directly to our warehouse, and one of our installation teams will collate, inspect and then bring the furniture to your business. They then unpack everything, assemble it and put it into position as per the floorplan. Each team has their own systems in place to make sure everything runs smoothly, and they work quickly and efficiently.

It's so much more than just box shifting. We fit internal shelves, level the desks, and check for any marks or damages. If our team finds any damages we make a note on the delivery note and/or speak to your contact at Verve to make sure the appropriate action is taken.

We then remove the packaging (of which there can be a lot - although we are working with the various factories to reduce the packaging whilst still protecting the products) and take it away with us. We then recycle or dispose of the waste and pay any council disposal charges (which are getting higher all the time!). This means that you are free to get on with business as normal - but in a beautiful new office!
