Nene Group

Northamptonshire based Nene Group chose Verve to fully refurbish their newly taken on office space in the autumn of 2023. The office was a great blank cavass and Nene had a vision to create a space with a modern and homely feel for flexible working with a mixture of full time in office as well as bringing together remote workers for group meetings. Nene already had an idea of the layout they wanted and Verve were able to develop these with some 3D designs to help visualise the overall design and colour scheme.

A combination of herringbone LVT and carpet tiles was chosen throughout to designate zones with crittal glass to create a classic look that helps the space to really flow. Another priority for the project was the acoustics of the space without compromising on design so acoustic glass was used with special acoustic insulated plasterboard for the partitions, hidden pads were installed above the ceilings to reduce transmission through the void and acoustic slat panelling was fitted around all of the TVs. The result is a peaceful space with freedom to hold confidential meetings with confidence in an otherwise busy office. Importantly for the final design the furniture was also chosen with some warm wood finishes combined with the timeless black trims to tie everything in together.

The overall outcome is a beautiful space that will last well and inspire for years to come, serving as a central hub as Nene Group continues to grow.
