Verco Ergoform chair
By working closely with ergonomists, the Ergoform chair is designed to control pelvic rotation, automatically. This allows the spine to adopt its natural ‘S’ shaped curvature, with the lumbar region curving inwards, rather than the lazy ‘C’ shape when a person normally sits down. This is caused by the pelvis rotating backwards, forcing the spinal column to bend forward and adopt the lazy ‘C’ curvature. This increases the strain on the spinal ligaments and may also lead to the crushing of the intervertebral discs and subsequent back pain. With the ergonomically designed curved back shape it supports the pelvic region and minimises the tendency of the pelvis to rotate when the user is seated.
